Abstract: In this thesis, we have investigated the peristaltic ow of Newtonian and non-Newtonian nano uid ows in a channel, uniform and non-uniform tube. We have modelled and simpli ed the governing equations of such a uid under the assumptions of long wave length and low Reynolds number approximation. The momentum equation is solved by utilizing the homotopy perturbation technique for velocity while the exact solutions are computed for temperature and concentration equations. The analysis depicts the impact of di erent situations such as endoscopic tube, magnetics eld, convective boundary conditions and viscous dissipation in the ow of nano uids induced by pressure gradient. The e ects of di erent governing parameters on velocity and temperature elds are analyzed graphically for peristaltic waves. The physics of the involved parameters and important features of the modeled problems are discussed and analyzed with the help of streamlines and plots for various quantities.
