This research dissertation comprises of the syntheses of benzophenone derivatives and evaluation of their in vitro biological activities. The chemical structures of synthetic compounds were elucidated by different spectroscopic and spectrometric techniques such as 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR and EI-MS, HREI-MS respectively. Melting point and Rf values of each compound was also defined. This whole thesis is divided in two chapters. Each chapter has its own compound numbering, figure numbering, and references.en_US
