This dissertation is a contribution to the Heterocyclic Chemistry. The basic theme for the synthesis was to prepare novel quinoline derivatives and their analogues i.e. pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine along with biological screening and computational studies. All the synthesized novel compounds were fully characterized and most of them were submitted for computational studies. This synthetic work was carried out at the Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore.en_US
