Abstract: The main objective of the scheme is to study the reptilian fauna of Sind, Its ecology, distribution and status. During the study various localities of different districts of Sind Province were visited regularly. Costal beds at Hawks bay, Sands pit Creeks were also repeatedly visited for observation/collection of Marina Turtles and Sea Snakes. Emphasis was given to observation of the reptilian fauna in their natural environment and only representative specimens were collected. Thus 1225 specimens were collected/recorded from the above districts, comprising of 84 taxes belonging to 19 Families. Recent status of the fauna was determined.
