Abstract: Chemical worker on Labiatae plants of Pakistan, e,g. Teucrium royleanum and T. stocksimanum was undertaken with a view to identify different constituents present in them. Acetone extracts of aerial parts of Teucrium stocksianum and T. royleanum were subjected to various chromatographic techniques for the separation and purification of different components. Six pure compounds have been isolated from T. stocksianum e.g. acetyl derivative of oleanolic acid (1), a 1, 4- disubstituted benzene derivative with hydrocarbon type of side ohains (2), saturated straight chain hydrocarbon corresponding to molecular C30H80 (3), two diterpenes (4) C19H22O5 and (5) C20H14O5 and 5, 22-stigmastadien-3-o1 (6). Four pure compounds and eight compounds have been isolated from T, royleanum, e,g pentatri-acontanone (10), hentricontadien-1-o1 (12), Z-12- NONADECAN-9-ONE (16), 5,23- STIGMASTADIE N-3-0 GALACTOSIDE (18), mixture of triacontane, hentriacontane (7), mixture of hentriacontane, tritriacontane and pentatriacontane (8) mixture of tetraiacontane , tritriacaontane and pentatriacontane (9) mixture of octylester and its higher homologues (11) mixturs of triterpenes (1`3) mixture of %,22,25 0- stigmatatrien-30l and 5, 25 – stigmastadien 3-0l (14) moixtures of octadecanoic acid and octadcadionoic acid and methylesterws (15) mixture of hexacosanoic acid its higher homologus (17)). Charcteristicon aqnd structure elucidation of all the isolated components has been done with the help of 1H, C-13 NMR and mass- spectral studies.
