The present work had been confined to the impedance spectroscopic studies on ceramic; YBa2Cu3O7-z; Y0.3Ba0.7-x Nax Cu O3-z (x=0; 0.03; 0.05; 0.07); Dy0.30 Ba0.65 Na0.05 Cu O3-z; Ho Ba2 Cu3 O7-z; Y Ba1.95 Na0.05 Cu O3-z; Ho0.3 Ba0.7 Cu O3-x etc. Impedance measurements were carried out on before – (or pre-) final sintered samples are mostly in two probe configurations. These two probe impedance measurements were carried out on “same side” or “opposite side” of a pellet. Nyquist and bode and phase angle plots were recorded and analyzed for circuit modeling. The admittance (or ac-conductivity) plots were recorded and fitted into an exponential equation. The physical significance of the various parameters of the equation was explored, possibility of Cu++ as the source of ac-conductivity was explored. Whenever the slope S=1. The trapping parameters were evaluated. XRD spectra and Tc through do resistively of some samples could be obtained.en_US
