Abstract: Substituted pyridine and pyridine derivatives are structural units in many natural products of biological importance. Furthermore, there is a large class of pharmacologically important substituted pyridines and aminopyridines which act as antiallergics (1), antiulcer (2), antibacterial agents (3), acaricides and insectricides (4), pesticides (5), antibacterial agents (6), antischemics agents (7), analgesics (8), anti-inflammatories (9,10), antiasthmatics (10) and various antagonists (11). Also some aminopyridine derivatives are useful as bleaching agents (12). Among some above applications, aminopyridines have been attractive for NMR spectroscopic studies (13-15). Also organotin compounds of N-donor ligands have been studied with respect to their anticancer and antitumour activity (16,17). The present work deals the synthesis and characterization of some new organotin derivatives of substituted pyridines containing organosilican moiety
