Twelve cases of orbital cysts were investigated. There was no history of trauma. No age or sex is immune, mostly were Hydatid or haematic cysts. Dermoid cysts are not so common only 4 cases were included. There is geographical distribution of the orbital tumours. It has been found that the malignant tumours are more common in the North West area of Pakistan. Etiology could not be taste, there is no link in the family history even in retinoblastoma. It has been found that the treatment gives inly increase span of life 3-4 years only it is found that patient died early and maximum age which the patient could attained is 2 years. Since the patients die before marriage, so the question f inheritance does not arise. In the west, this tumour is treatable but not in the east. Malignant melanoma is rare tumour and its common only in pigmented people an is uncommon in pigmented races. Various types of the tumour which have been tabulated above, so that the mostly all types of the tumours are met with in orbit. The presentation of the orbital tumours is different in different cases. The treatment depends Upon the sight of the tumour as well as the age in which patient comes to attend the hospital. Mostly the treatment is surgical, either from entirely or from the latterly approach the tumours in children re mostly fatal. Sometimes only cosmetic treatment is possible. That attack of orbit in the malignant diseases indicate the terminal stage of the disease. In cases of breast prostrated etc when the tumours metastasize in the orbit no treatment is useful even chemotherapy and radio therapy feel miserably. The tumours of reticuloendothelial system may appear in the orbit without any evidence in the raised of the body except sometimes change in blood liver spleen may not be show in enlargement. in short orbit is blind temple difficult to find a black which sometimes missed or sometimes may or may not present. modern gadgets of investigations are still lacking to localize the tumour in early stages.
