| Abstract: | The present study describes a total of 63 lithophytic algal species belonging to Cyanophyta (11 genera, 30 species), Chlorophyta (3 genera, 7 species) and Bacillariophyta (16 genera, 26 species) from rocks of Batkhela, District Malakand. The collected specimens were identified and described. This is the first ever report on rock algae from this area. |
