Abstract: Comparative investigation of pulsed (activated) chicken cytochrom c oxidase and resting enzyme are compared with other species and pH dependent properties are also monitored Sodium chloride dependence of chicken oxidase is analysed and compared with that of beef cytochrome c oxidase. Carbon monoxides binding and spectral changes during this process is also discussed. S values are also determined at different pH of the enzyme ultra centrifugation.
