Abstract: Hoplolaimus tabacum n. sp. is described an illustrated from specimens on Nicotiana tabacum from Mardan, Pakistan.This new species can be distinguished from all other species of the genus Hoplolaimus on the basis of a combination of these characteristics: by having 6 nucle in oesophageal glands, most posterior vulva (62.8-63.5 %), and both phasmids located in post vulval region. H. aegypti is recorded for the first time from Pakistan and morphometric data given.
