dc.description.abstractSpecimens of Amplimerlinius parbati n. sp. were detected from soil around the roots of fem (Cheilanthes sp.) rom Saifulmuluk, NWFP, Pakistan. This species differs from all the known species of genus Amplimerlinius Siddiqi, 1976 in having shorter stylet, heavy sclerotization of cephalic framework, hemispherical head and rounded annulated tail terminus. Melinus adakensis Bemard, 1984 on weed plant (Oxalis corniculata L.) is recorded for the first time in Pakistan .en_US
