Abstract: The post infection life cycle of reniform nematode on black-gram was completed within 10 to 15 days of inoculation with pm-adult reniform females. The pre-adult females penetrated host roots within 24 hrs of inoculation and showed subsequent swelling leading to a reniform female on third day of inoculation. These females were converted to fully developed adults after 7th day and produced gelatinous sac after gth day which continued era laying opt() the 15th day after inoculation.
