Abstract: Meloidogyne incognita reduced the leghaemoglobin and bacteroid content of nodules thus adversely affecting the functioning of nodules of mungbean (Vigna radiate L.) cv. G.65 irrespective of initial level of inoculum. Nitrogenase activity of the nodules decreased with an increase in the initial level of inoculum.
