| Abstract: | A survey of the ornamental plants of Libya revealed the presence of 12 genera and 13 species of plant parasitic nematodes in both the rhizosphere soil and/or roots. Meloidogyne incognita, Trichodorus sp.,Helicotylenchus digonicus, Pratylenchus pratensis, Hoplolaimus egyptiensis and Tylenchorhynchus maximus may become a limiting factor in the growth of ornamental plants if not controlled. |
