Fifteen day old culture filtrates of Paecilomyces lilacinus, Aspergillus flavus, A. niger, Alternaria brassicicola, A. triticina and Fusarium solani undiluted and at 1:10 dilution were used in 20 ml soil doses for the control of Meloidogyne incognita and Macrophomina phaseolina on chickpea. Paecilomyces lilacinuswas most effective against M. incognita when present alone or with M. phaseolina followed by Aspergillusniger, A. flavus, Alternaria brassicicola, A. triticina and Fusarium solani. However, A. niger, A. flavus and P. lilacinus were effective against M. phaseolina when undiluted culture filtrates were used.en_US
