Abstract: | Of the organic amendments viz., mustard oil cake @ 6 kg/20m2 , cotton oil cake @ 4 kg/20 m2 and saw dust @ 4 kg/20 m2 used on the farmers field in Malakand Agency (NWFP), mustard oil cake was found most effective in reducing population of root knot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.) in soil, galls on the roots and increased the yield of tomato as compared to untreated control. |
