| Abstract: | Maqbool (1992) and Nasira & Maqbool (1993) listed a number of nematode species belonging to the group Longidoridae and Trichodoridae from Pakistan. Besides, Nasira et al., (1993), Nasira & Maqbool (1994a), Nasira & Maqbool (1994b) described Paralongidorus lemoni Nasira & Maqbool, 1994;Paratrichodorus psidii Nasira & Maqbool, 1994; Paratrichodorus faisalabadensis Nasira & Maqbool, 1994;Xiphinema cynodontis Nasira & Maqbool, 1994 while Paralongidorus major Verma, 1973; Paratrichodorus mirzai (Siddiqi, 1960) Siddiqi, 1974 and P. renifer Siddiqi, 1974 have been newly recorded for the first time in Pakistan. |
