dc.description.abstractCopper( l l) , nickel (Il) and pal ladium(ll) complexes of bis( isopropa- PA S) and nickel (Il) and palladium(ll) PA S) are prepared for their possible use for gas chromatographic separation of copper, nickel ånd pal ladium. The reagents and metal complexes are characterized 1using IR, UV, HNMR and mass spectroscopic techniques. The metal complexes are somewhat volatile as evident from their DTA and TG curves and complete separation between nickel and palladium of both l igands is achieved, but incomplete separation is demonstrated between copper and nickel complexes. Li near cal ibration range and detection limits of the complexes are determineden_US
