The constructive interference between the two oppositely propagating lasers can produce a forced stationary electron density ripple. The latter can reflect the incident laser light from an expanding plasma in the underdense region. The effects of the laser intensity, the laser wavelength, and the plasma temperature on the total reflectivity are investigated. Application of our results in laser-fusion plasma is discussed.en_US
