Abstract: ESP conference series has evolved into a premier scientific platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in earth sciences. It has earned national and international recognition, attracting leading scientists, researchers, and professionals from academia, industry, and government institutions. Each successive edition has expanded its thematic breadth and scientific depth, contributing meaningfully to the advancement of geoscientific knowledge and its applications. ESP -2026 continues this tradition as a multidisciplinary forum addressing contemporary challenges and emerging frontiers in geosciences. The conference encompasses a wide range of thematic areas, including mineral exploration, processing and sustainable mining; structural geology and tectonics; engineering geology, geotechnical engineering and construction materials; applied geophysics and subsurface imaging; geo-informatics, remote sensing, natural hazards and disaster risk reduction; energy, petroleum systems and basin analysis; environmental and soil sciences, climate change and hydrology; and sedimentology, palaeontology, mineralogy and petrology. By facilitating high-level scientific presentations and discussions, ESP -2026 aims to stimulate new research directions, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthen the interface between science, industry, and policy. The conference also provides a valuable platform for the corporate sector to showcase technologies, products, and services, while engaging with more than 500 researchers, stakeholders, and policymakers from within the country and abroad. This interaction enables meaningful networking and access to a wide range of scientific and technical sessions. In response to the call for abstracts for ESP-2026, more than 100 submissions were received from academics, graduate students, and professionals representing both academia and industry across various domains of earth sciences. Each submitted abstract has undergone peer review by at least two referees to ensure scientific quality, relevance, and rigor.
