dc.description.abstractPsychological capital with sub-concepts of hope, efficacy, resilience and optimism (HERO) measures the positive inspiration of human, intellectual procedures and work hard for achievements at the work. This consideration explores the influence of psychological capital towards white collar crimes done by the white collar employees, work related attitude and job outcomes. This study also comparatively analyses the views of workers working in the diverse companies about the psychological capital interventions towards white collar crimes and work related attitude/ job outcomes. Quantitative research technique was used in the study. Four public sector organizations of Pakistan was selected for primary data collection namely, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) located in the diverse location of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Punjab and the capital city Islamabad, Pakistan. Total 319 questionnaires were distributed among the male and the female Top (Administrative), Middle (Executive) and Lower (Supervisory) levels of management working in PIA, OGDCL, PTCL and NBP and their views were taken regarding the role of psychological capital towards job related attitude/ outcomes and white collar crime. Findings of the research revealed that 1) psychological capital has significant positive effect on job related attitude i.e. (job satisfaction and job commitment, 2) psychological capital has significant positive effect on job related outcomes i.e. (job performance and favorable outcome), 3) psychological capital has significant negative effect on white collar crime i.e. (laundering, fraud, bribery, theft), 4) there was insignificant difference between the views of PIA and OGDCL staff members, 5) there was a significant difference between the views of PIA, PTCL, NBP, and PTCL staff members about psychological capital interventions on white collar crime and work related attitude/ outcome. The study suggests that the psychological capital is critically important in the contemporary corporate environment in order to ensure the strategies, programs and activities of management to mobilize and to achieve the overall missions and goals of the firm. All the vital facets of psychological capital significantly enhance the employee job related attitude/outcome whereas, psychological capital significantly decrease the propensity of crimes committed by white collar employees.en_US
