Adoptions and modifications of methods are core requirement of the research to meet the obligation of the time. The intention of this thesis is to enlighten the advantages of some modified form of some existing techniques. This is an endeavor to familiarize the application of such techniques on physical problems. Applications of modified techniques and their worth have been discussed. Traditional and modified analytical techniques like Rational Homotopy Analysis (RHPM), Homotopy Analysis (HAM), Optimal Homotopy Analysis (OHAM), Modified Adomian’s Decomposition (MADM) and Modified Variational Iteration (MVIM) Methods have been applied. A new modification has also been presented named as Modified Optimal Variational Iteration Method. All the presented modified methods have their own significance; they are steadfast, proficient and accurate having propensity to wrestle with highly nonlinear problems of diversified physical nature.en_US
